Colarusso started development on a new user interface which he shared with a few of his fellow teachers. The interface addressed many of the faculty's concerns and presented a novel solution to tardies.1 However, the back end was still that purchased by the school, and concerns persisted about its accuracy and ability to provide meaningful analysis.2 So Colarusso called an old college buddy Josh Estelle, a computer scientist. In school the two had often critiqued the poor execution of what would come to be known as web services, and this was their chance to do it right. So they sketched out a solution and approached the school's administration. The rest as they say is history. Today Lexington High School is a satisfied customer. In an evaluation of Colarusso and Estelle's solution, 99% of user respondents expressed the belief that it was "well designed and easy to use," and 100% found the system reliable and accurate. Building upon that success, and the feedback of users, Colarusso and Estelle founded Anaces, Inc. Expanding on their offerings, their solutions now address attendance, grades, course content, and scheduling. Built upon a solid real-world tested framework, Anaces works to deliver a built-to-order solution for schools looking to realize the promise of educational information management -- actually making people's jobs easier. Castor and Pollux were the truest of brothers and were given the ability to aid mariners safely through storms at sea by the god Neptune. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
